Before getting into procurement and supply chain, James ran operations for a business unit within Siemens Energy and Automation and project managed the installation of both natural gas peakers and solar plants at UGI Energy Services. James leveraged this hands-on experience to grow into procurement – ultimately leading the supply chain functions at UGI Energy Services, Henkels & McCoy (a 100yr old EPC that focuses on complex infrastructure), and RES (a utility scale renewables EPC). James currently leads the supply chain team at Sun Tribe EPC in Charlottesville, VA. James received his undergrad in engineering from West Point and his MBA from Villanova. In addition to his deep knowledge of subcontracts and vendor purchase agreements, James has a very strong understanding of data architecture and operational procurement processes.
